"Elder Care Planning Strategies for Families"

A 3-hour workshop on how to plan for long term care.

The Utah Eldercare Planning Council is offering care planning workshops at the Salt Lake Community College-- Miller Campus or Redwood Campus.  This is an instructional three hours.  No commercial products, companies or commercial programs are presented.  The course includes the following:

• Instruction from community experts on elder care issues.  Experts may include:  care managers; home care providers; care funding specialists; retirement planners; reverse mortgage specialists and elder law attorneys.
  
  
• A valuable workbook complete with lecture notes, instructor resource material and an elder care assessment worksheet.
  
  
• A no-cost consultation offered on a different date and time with one of the instructors. This is included with your workshop fee.

Throughout the year periodic sessions are held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  Each session is identical.  You attend only one session. 

Each session includes one light meal as part of the fee to allow you to come directly from work. 

The workshop cost is $29.00.  Your partner or guest attends free.  If paying at the door it's $39.00 per registrant and your partner or guest attends free. Have your partner or guest bring $5.00 if they want a meal as well. 

Your fee, paid in advance, entitles you to attend any one of the many identical sessions held throughout the year.  The fee not only includes 80 plus pages of planning and resource materials and a meal, but a no-cost personal consultation providing individual instructions and advice, as well.
